I really hate gathering, but there is no way this is better. This pinning method took at least 15 minutes for a few inches.

Well it looks like making a list helped.

I finished this Saturday right after my last post.
WIP List:
Equisetum hat
Summer in Kansas shawl
Crochet Shrug
Socks for Russ
Three more to go.
Priorities
This list is mostly for myself, I found that I have an alarming number of unfinished knitting projects.

Tapestry
If I stick to this list, I should finish Tapestry just in time for fall. We will see how that goes, I knit the first few rows the other day and the wool made my hands hot.
Nice thing about remodeling…
Is that all the furniture is already cleared out. I am able to lay out this king size quilt before the drywall gets redone. So excited!
I finished finals this week and it feels so strange to wake up and know that I have NOTHING TO GET DONE TODAY. Except work on fun stuff for myself. Feels good.
So this happened…
This is a picture of my husband, Russ. He had just cut a hole in the ceiling to drain water.
One hour earlier I had started a load of sheets in the washer, and the hot water got stuck in the open position and quietly flooded the laundry room upstairs. I was able to shut the water off pretty quickly, but not before the whole first floor ceiling began leaking from every light fixture and air vent.
Its finals week, and I am very busy with social obligations as well. The whole flooding thing was not part of the plan. I am physically and mentally exhausted. I have nowhere to sit or eat downstairs, no tv, and sporadic internet.
I’d love to fast forward to next week.
