I am totally ready this year. My pattern is picked out, yarn bought, wound and swatched. I photocopied the chart out of the book, and even printed out the eratta. I am all over this. Every year I pick out something crazy complicated and then bail last minute. This year I’m going to give it my best.
The yarn is Mountain Colors Winter Lace in Wild Horse. It is wonderful to work with, and a beautiful color.
The pattern is the Myrtle Leaf Shawl from Victorian Lace Today.
I’ve done a swatch, and even knit a bit of the border, so I’m fairly familiar with the pattern repeat, so that should speed up the beginning knitting. I am so ready to go.
